Hi folks. I'm considering selling my 4Runner. I don't have a garage nor the time to work on it. 1st baby will be here soon so here are the specs. Give me your best ballpark estimate on what it's worth.

1991 4Runner SR5, 4 Door, 4X4, 3.0 V6
ARB winch bumper, no winch, painted with Black Hammerite paint
Dual tow hooks
No frame rust
Optima Red Top
189,000 miles, valve covers leaking
No radiator leaks
Cruise Control works
Power antenna works
Needs a new muffler/tailpipe. Will leave as is so new owner can put what they want in it.
Good oil pressure
COLD A/C (have extra condenser fan as well)
Rear heater in console
Black poly/graphite suspension bushing kit, never installed
Heavy duty plate steel front skid plate
stock front skid plate
front right brake caliper sticks. I have an extra set of calipers to rebuild and swap out - just haven't done it.
Front pads and rear shoes have about 6,000 miles on them
All Pro Offroad rear springs for 1.5" lift
Rancho RS5000's all around with longer ones in rear for the added 1.5" lift
Sunroof works but you have to use your hand to push it up to seal
plastic trim around sunroof buttons missing
Driver seat showing some wear on edge from getting in/out
Has Husky floormats in front with a set of rubber channel floor mats from a new Ford on top of those
Rear has a Ford rubber channel mat all the way across
Interior color is blue plastic and upholstery
Still have factory floor mats
Power windows all work
Power locks all work, lock/unlock entire truck using key in door
rear windows all tinted by prev owner
windshield is cracked but hey, its an offroader
Factory rear carpet protector for cargo area

ADD converted to AISIN manual hubs when i bought it at 139K
Needs a paint job. Metallic blue paint but the clear coat coming off on roof and hood so it is ugly.

Engine runs good but fouls plugs once a year. I'm guessing b/c I have only driven the truck about 6,000 miles in the last 2 years and the gas sits a long time.
Oil changed every 3K miles
When i bought this Runner I changed all fluids, had tranny flushed, etc.
Dash plastic is all good.
Bezel around radio is hacked from prev. owner
Factory Fm/am/cassette/cd from 95 4runner but not working. needs an unlock code??
console is in good shape. some plastic is faded there. arm rest is good, not torn up
Just renewed Texas plates. Needs inspection but due to muffler/tailpipe it won't happen.

This would make a great truck for a project. Either swap in a newer 3.4 or rebuild the 3.0. Tranny works/shifts great. This truck sat for over 30 days in South Texas summer and started right up first crank.

I need some ideas on what it is worth to someone looking for a good platform truck. I may wind up parting it out. The wheels alone are killer. Have thought about keeping them as they would be muy expensive to replace and they may fit a GM truck.

My guess would be 4k? anyone agree/disagree? If anything, maybe a tad less.

 

Hmm, well from your description of it it puts it somwhere between "good" and "fair" condition on Kelly Blue Book, which would put its price somewhere between $3000 and $3500. Perhaps a tad more because of the ARB bumper but no higher than $3750 IMO.

hey i just looked up your runner on kelly blue book and i got $3,835 for a private party value. yours looks pretty sweet, i wouldnt take any less than $4k for yours.

 

i would always check out your local listings of how much similiar 4runners are going for in your area. try autotrader

 

i tried but i'm in such a remote area, nothing like this ever shows up . good suggestion though
