Deore Hydraulic disc brakes for MTB
I got a good deal on Shimano Deore disc brakes ( I work in a bike shop) so I bought a set for myself and another to pass along the deal. This is a nearly complete set (no rotor for rear wheel) that is pre-bled and ready to install and ride. The hoses are a little short, so on my 5spot (large) I had to get a new longer hose for the rear. Front rotor is 203 mm (DH or freeride). $100 for front and rear setup, retails for $100 each wheel. You pay shipping from NC. These work better than my old Grimeca 4 piston that cost twice that.

Can I email one to you? I can't seem to shrink the picture to a size the forum will allow. Not so quick with photo editing, I guess.

I tried the deores on my buddy's morphine, and totally fell in love with them. I'm riding some hayes hfx mags on the bullit, but I'm not too satisfied with them. Some avid cable discs I got for my stp seem to work better. If you are looking for cable disc, definately look for the bb5 or 7's. I can't give enough praise for them.

Hey, anything is an upgrade over hayes. I would have more braking power if I squeezed the disk with my fingers.

I tried that. All I ended up with was a strange melting odor, followed by burning gloves and fingers...
