Not mine, don't know them, you're on your own. <--this seems to be a required statement for people that don't even attempt to read the posts
If it was on this side of the hill I might buy it for parts myself:

Good luck!

I got a similar message:

"It's still available, thanks for your interest.

I'm asking 1300 now, my mechanic actually appraised it today and it was worth way more than i though, he said to sell it for 1500 but I'll go with 1300.

it's a manual and it can't be driven, it would have to be towed"

I had asked him if it would make the trip back to AZ. Guess not.

I'm thinking with the post on YT and just general interest for a 1st Gen that cheap he was probably inundated with calls and E-mails.

Guess he caught on that he could raise the price a wee bit.

I have seen it happen before. He prolly did get inundated. Problem is shipping a dead car around the country will cost ya 1000 and up. Makes it much more expensive!

Hmmmm... maybe I'll have to clue him in and get the price back down.

I think if it was in AZ I'd be super motivated.

Ric, if you do go look at it and he brings it down to about 800, i may take this thing. im not sure though. yeah i wouldnt even lift it until i got longs in, front and rear lockers and some armor. then the lift and tires would do their thing and then hydro. cage afterwards. 3.4 down the road, 4.7:1 gears, another case, hmm, what else am i missing? lol

I think this dude owes me half the extra $600!
It's their vehicle and they can do what they want, but this seems a little like dirty pool to me.

Uh, do I check craigslist too often? Yes. But, I'm thinking of getting rid of my second gen and getting a third instead and they don't seem to show up much around here.

Have you read your thread....?

Not trying to pick on you to bad, just had to smile at you passing on this 4Runner because of engine work. Seems like you are basically ready to completely reinvent your current ride.

I would slap the poo outta the owner, but i bet you could bring his ass down. especially if you make up an experience where you bought a truck and something else was wrong, the owner ended up in the hospital, and since you know the District attorney, you got off with community service

And i check CL just as often as you
