What does y'alls think of the Pro Comp X-Terrains? Pros/ cons?

I don't know of anybody on here that has them...but if you get the edition of Petersons 4Wheel & Offroad magazine...on pg. 86-88 they have an article on it. I would just go to the store and read it right there instead of gettin the entire magazine, unless you want the info from the "Massive Mud Tire Test" they did.

My friend ray has 31x10.50s on his Cherokee, they look sweet, wear well and have great highway manners for an agressive tire. However, they are nothing to write home about unless rocks are your thing. I would go with a Radial Baja Claw or a Yokohama Geolander MT if you are into the chevron tread thing.

 

Yeah I would go with a Baja Claw radial. Those are really nice tires. If you need a tough tire that you can bash, then go with interco Needless to say I cut a sidewall in my MT\R......

 

I have the geolanders on my truck and i've been pleased with them in the mud and snow. just thought i would throw my input in. (btw, they have a good rating at tirerack.com)

I run them, and they're great. Incredibly quiet on the road, but tend to weard down a little quicker than others. You take the PSI down to 10 or 15 and those tires will grab onto any thing you go over.

 

Pro comp is made by Cooper tires as I founrd out you can get comperable tires made by the same manufactuter for alot cheaper check out my new post.
