Recent Consumer Reports test rated them pretty high, if I remember correctly.

I just bought a set of Hankook Ventus RH06 for my other truck. Getting em mounted today. Got a super deal - $318 for 4. 285/60R18, same as 32x11.50. Intro prices or some such. Couldn't pass that up.

When I lived in B.C. Hankkok was very common and considered good tires. Just starting to see them in the US.

for my road tires since I live in such a wet place and my rig sees more blacktop than trail I use the 265/70/R16 DynaPro AS (all season) RH-03 to replace the OEM (before mods and another daily driver so I can trail my rig) and I love them. I average on the high end of the mileage spectrum on this board as a result, i believe, of the tires extremely low rolling resistance. sorry I can't be of more help with AT or MT type tires, but I do know that they do make them...

We use a set of hankooks on a race car, the compound is nice and soft. They handle awsome and the grip is exelent. The only complaint that I have is due to the soft compound they wear fairly quickly. But still worth the money

Sure. You want to see em on the truck you have to wait, I have to buy some lug nuts tomorrow. (I bought new wheels too, these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43958 ...)

Hill, when you get around to it, like to see pics of your rig with the tires and light bar. Thanks

$399 for the rims incl shipping.
$318 for the tires, then I had my company ship them for $50.
Hard to beat those prices!
Kinda the wrong tires for a 4x4, but that's my daily driver/tow rig and it only sees highway miles anyway. I have the Yota for offroad...

To post them as attachments, they have to be smaller than 49k. To post big pics you have to upload them to the 'net, then link to them by clicking the photo icon in the Reply utility.

Just thought I'd follow up - I have now put 500 miles on the Hankooks (Ventus RH06) and I gotta say they are (so far) amazing! It's been very wet this last few weeks, more than normal and these tires simply don't notice it. The best rain shedding tires I've ever had - and I've been running in the "ruts" just to see if I can shake em, even at freeway speeds.

When it isn't raining they are totally quiet, and grip very well. My Dunlops would squall a bit on some of the curves on my daily drive, these don't. We'll see how long they last (The Dunlop ATs only lasted 33k so these could hardly be worse,) but so far I am pleased.

By the way, 3 tires took about 1.5 oz. ea. to balance the 4th took 3oz. That's not bad either!
