hankook dynapro mt

So I have set of 3 hankook dynapro mt 30x9.5xr15 I would be buying a new one from discount tire. My question is would it be worth it to put on a 2wd truck I can clear it in the back I already know what to do in the front cut some of the fender off a tad.. So lets hear it would it effect my gas really bad to be running 30's on a 2wd 80 p/u I'm already running 225 75 15's all the way around. I picked up the set of 3 for $200 and get a new one for $170 or so they are brand new the set of 3

You would be basically going from a 29 inch tire to a 30 inch tire. I would not worry about a thing.
