So I just got a set of 32x11.50r15's and came from having 31x10.50r15 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors and I love the hankooks. I am one to do a serious amount of research before I go out and spend some bucks on a long term investment and I can truely say that this has paid off. They are fairly quiet (for a mud tire) and I drive them on the highway about 25 miles a day and with about 3k miles on them so far I have seen great wear at 38 psi on my 94 runner. As for offroad capability, I took them out to Cleghorn Ridge (near Lake Arrowhead in Socal) and it was snowing at about 5000 feet. At the trail head I aired down to 20 psi and started out. About 5 miles up, I got into some light snow and mush. I graduated from 2 wheel to 4hi and kept going with no issues. After a mile or two more it was pretty deep. I was passing several trucks up that were getting stuck. I got to one point where i was in 4lo and was spinning (turning up on to a bluff off the trail) and after a couple seconds of the tires cleaning and grabbing I pulled right up and parked. I was very impressed of what the tires can handle and cant wait to try them once I get a locker. They get 5 stars from me!

 

I'm thinking about getting these this summer keep it updated on the tread wear. Also how did they balance?

No, I was just planning on taking a friend for a moderate trail ride and made a wrong turn on to a hardcore trail and couldn't turn around. It got my adrenaline pumping but it was fun. Got stuck about 4 times and realized how important recovery gear is. I had a case in my car but WATER is #1. It can get hot out there and high elevation doesn't help!

 

I would have ditch those other trails and went on that one anyways hahaha

I'm pretty sure any local tire shop would sale them just shop around and look for the cheapest price haha

 

Cleghorn... Hardcore? It's barely a 2 out of 5. The hard bypasses (which are closed now) are maybe a 2.5 out of 5. Just saying.
