Experience with Goodyear Duratracs in snow/ice?
I moved from the east coast to leadville colorado up at 10k feet and I want to get a good snow tire for next winter for my commute down the mountain. The Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac looks like a good choice as it's snow/ice rated for studs but it's a relatively new tire.
Does anyone have any experience with this particular tire in a stock size or close to it on our trucks in severe snow and ice conditions?
I was thinking I might get some bridgestone blizzaks but those wear out too fast and the duratrac looks to be a great tire.
cheers
