Anybody have comments on Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Tires?

He took his 4runner to a shop that does this kind of stuff for a living I'm pretty sure they will know what to do to get his tires to balance. But I guess if you were doing it yourself that link would be helpful.

Well the shop i talked to uses the equal brand and it clumps like hell, so i wouldnt go trusting any shop to do it if it were my truck.

oh snap!

the upper arm clears on the road, but at about 75% droop, it begins to complain a little. time for a trim...
to me, they look just perfect on there. like they were made for it. i love the way the fill out the wheel wells more than the 305's did.
also, they are SUPER QUIET - as in just as quiet as i remember my brand new 265 Nitto Terra Grapplers to be a few years back - yeah, they REALLY are quiet.
i only drove on surface streets home, at most at 45MPH or so, and i'm very impressed. i'll take it out on the interstate for a bit later. so far, the power difference is noticeable, but not bad at all. about like going from stock 265/70's to 265/75's. really, not THAT much difference from the 305's. i'm sure my mileage will go down a little, but at this point, i really don't care about that much anyway.

Parnelli Jones Is The Answer
yo, those MT's are no good man, i just put 35" parnelli jones' on my 4 door wrangler and they are awesome. Great off road traction, mud and land terrain, they are alright on rocks but they aren't rubber, they are poly-carbonate composite which makes them real hard so rock climbing isn't their strong point. I drive back and forth from jerz to baltimore for school and let me tell you the tires are quieter than the 22's my pops has on his escalade. Not to mention that i got them cheaper than i was going to get MT claws for. don't even bother with $$$ MT's not worth your money
