4runner tire & wheel modifications?
I dont know a lot when it comes to trucks so im here today just recently joined wanting to know the maximum wheel and tire size I can put on my '99 runner. Im going for a buffer look. I want to put all black wheels on and some bigger tires.

Beat way, way beyond death.
psudds87, I realize you're new here but that is by far the most asked question on the forum. On a stock 3rd gen you can fit a 265/75R16 with no rubbing. You may be able to go a bit bigger on a 99 as they had the taller springs.
But like Tubbyfatty said a quick search will give you more info than you can read

so i have a 2000 4runner SR5 4x4 and I also have but and getting rid of a 1990 chevy k1500 with the stock aluminum 16in rims wrapped in 265/75 Kumho Road Venture AT's.... and i checked the Pro Comp Wheel conversion chart for bolt patterns and am supper suprised but it says that the 4runner and the chevy have the same bolt pattern. I am stoked because the Kumhos are brand new and why not just throw my Kumhos and rims on the the 4runner... is it possible? if not why? the 4runner has 22575r15... help me!

Bolt pattern might be right, but you have to make sure that the backspacing would also be right. Oh, and I think that the 3rd gen's had the 16" wheels to clear the brakes, but maybe someone with more 3rd gen experience could chime in on that.

The only way to know for sure it to test fit one. The bolt pattern is the same, but I'll bet the backspacing will be off. I'm not 100% sure about the hub diameter either.
