35" spare tire does fit underneath bed???

so i thought everyone made a spare tire carrier for anything over 33s but I was just measuring under my 94 ext cab bed and it seems that a 35 should fit?

I find a 33 just squeezes under my '85:

As is, I need to align the voids in the tread lugs with the shackle bolts so they won't hit as well as pulling the spare back a few inches from it's natural resting point to keep it out of the e-brake cables on the axle. Also have a relocated rear exhaust pipe to keep it away from the tire.

Have seen a 35 under a pickup, tire deflated and collapsed down with a ratchet strap.
