2nd set of TreadWrights on the way.

Just ordered my next set of TW retreads in 285/75/16 and a set of soft 8's in 16/8 with 4" backspacing. If this set makes it up past 45,000 miles like the last set I'll be damn happy. 107$ per tire (5 of them) and shipping with a discount I paid 643$ to get them to my door. Looks like right at 400$ for the wheels with lugs, center caps, mounted tires, balanced and a lifetime rotation/balance on the wheels/tires.

So just a tad over a grand for 5 tires, 5 wheels, caps, lugs and a warranty. Guess I can't complain too much. Anyone need a set of 5 31/10,50/15 tires on factory Toyota SR5 alloys with a spare that's never been on the ground?

When I they get here I'll post up a poser pic for you picture hounds.

Sweet! I was going to go with the AT's also but since I'm looking to move to Spokane Washington in the next few months I went with the Guard Dog M/T's. They seem to have a lot of deep snow up there and I'll need to be able to dig through it when I go wheeling with the RB4R group.

Do you like the AT's so far?

KIYOBROWN had said the Guard Dog's that he has may be a little too loud for my wife. The A/T's are very nice....not rumbly and very quiet. pretty aggressive looking so the wife likes them too.

hey....we get lots of snow here too....just drove to work Monday in 13 inches of snow. but yeh, I think you will be happy. i'm pretty sure i gave you some credit in that thread.

Yeah the guard dogs are probably going to be too loud for my lady also but I told her that you have to deal with the noise on the street if you want to pass others on the trail. You can't be silent on the road if you want to run ragged in the rocks. That and she wants to drive off-road so I needed to be sure she'd have traction when she needed it.

Did you opt for the walnut shells? Seems they would be choice for ice. Nice tire, if you rotated your stare in to your tire rotations you'd probably get another 15 to 20000 miles out of the whole set maybe less with the mud tire. You gotta check out "Naches Pass" when you get out this way.

Nice! Those are the same tires (and wheels for that matter) that I ran up over 40,000 miles on my 86 and 89 before I bought new ones. Have fun!!!

Oh I will. Good to hear that you got that much out of these. Makes me even more excited. Can't wait to get my front drive shaft to really test them out in some snow.
