91 pickup Cummins R2.8 swap

I’m currently in the process of engine swap with the all new Cummins R2.8 diesel motor. How many people would be interested in me posting my progress on here about what I’m doing with the swap? I’ll post stuff here and there about it but if people want more info and more pictures I’ll be happy to spend the time and help others out.

To answer your question. You can say you did it all you want but, without pics it didn't happen.

I don't suppose?

I don't suppose you would mind sharing your designs for your adapter plate and who you had Fab it up, I'm wanting to do the same swap into my 92 4runner, and the only thing that's been holding me up if finding a company that can help with the adapters?

They don't make one that's a direct fit for the Toyota right now, I've tried to reach out to them a few times to see if they will soon to no avail

I reached out to axis industries as well they told methe toyota truck used their R2.8 to Chevy LS adapter, and then an Advance Adapter LS Bell housing for the W56 which would work, I was hoping for something a little different I suppose if we are already dropping 9k on a crate another 2k for bits and pieces isn't that bad, I was just hoping for a straight adapter from one company or the other

Sorry for being quite lately. I don’t get notifications so guess I need to come on here more even when I’m not working on the truck. But finally had more time and money to get stuff done. So far no hiccups just more and more planning and figure out the best options for what I’m trying to go for. Right now got the motor mounts all made up and welded on. Had to push the transmission back 4 in so there would be room for the radiator and fan. So I guess you could consider that as a hiccup but I already fixed that. Also got the dash gutted out to.

me and someone else at my work designed the adapters for the tranny and flywheel. I programmed and made the adapters myself.
