they clear coated the entire engine. You can see it dried up thick in some spots. Hopefully stays nice and clean that way

At $9000, it better be.

I'm glad you can do it, and glad to watch, but I have to look elsewhere for swap ideas.

Sorry for being so quiet on this. Been really slow all summer long due to racing motocross every weekend so didn稚 work on it as much as I wanted. But I got a lot more done this winter and is finally getting very close to being done!

As of right now if if there is anything specific you want to know about it or what I did. Feel free to ask and I値l answer. At some point I値l do a full update with all the pictures I致e taken and a run down on what I did.

That's exciting!

What did you do for the gas pedal? Use the supplied one?
Are you going to be running A/C?

I知 using the stock Toyota pedal bracket and cut a piece off the Cummings pedal bracket supplied from them and welded it to the Toyota one to make it work. Very tight fit in there since it痴 a eclectical pedal with how big of a body it has. Just barely clears the e-brake and the mechanism for the air system. But it fits perfect in there. Just need to get it right.

And I am not going to be running a a/c unit. My a/c is those triangle windows that fold out.

Thanks for the posts! That's my dream swap, but would an R2.8 meet CA emissions requirements?

Nice. I think keeping the stock pedal is the way to go.
Very funny with the vent windows for AC! haha

What about an intercooler?

Sorry for being so quiet I知 terrible at keeping up with this lol. So got the truck fired up and running good so far. Did a couple heat cycles and drove it out of the shop and did few laps around my road. Only thing left is finish the exhaust the rest of the way back and repaint the cab and bed I picked up for it and it痴 pretty much all done! But unfortunately I知 getting a second surgery on my hand this week so won稚 be 100% done till I recover from that.
