Yup, she's been running for about a month. Sorry, I have not been very good about updating this thread. I have a long thread over at pirate and usually update more there because of the activity within the thread.

Here's a ˟˟˟˟ty video (just sound really). Revs up to 5k. First is quick rev outside truck. Slow rev outside. then quick 5k inside cab, then slow 5k inside cab.

Here is the thread with a plethora of information regarding the Hilux/1UZ specifically: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/toyot...output-60.html

If anyone has Q's, feel free to PM me or post in this thread. I get emails when there are posts, so I can reply quickly.

The engine seems to be running extremely well and there are currently no CELs with over 100 miles on the swap so far (just town driving to work out kinks). There are a few things I still need to do, but 98% of the swap is done and it is extremely drivable right now. So far, I am content with the swap. It is a huge difference. The big thing with choosing the motor for the swap was a motor this powerful or more with good efficiency. Once I work out a few more things, I will be able to get some numbers on this to see if my expectation fell short in regards to that aspect of the swap or not. The last time I did mpg on the 22r setup it was 13.5mpg all around and basically topped at 50 in 4th on the flats with 5.29s, W56, 37x14.5 toyo MTs (dual cases increase mech drag too).

That's good to hear. I have 5-6000 miles on mine never exceeded 13 mpg city on 31s auto trans. This morning I think I broke something either in the transfercase or the rear end I have a pretty bad vibration and a random tink sound coming from somewhere maybe I'll get lucky and it just be a u joint..

Are you loving the 5 speed?

The 5spd is pretty awesome, but It's really all I'm use to.
