Wont turn over!!!

So ive got everything pretty much wraped up. I had toy-only-swaps make me a conversion harness and everything turns on. Guages/lights...etc. When I go to start it all im getting is a ticking sound from the starter. It will not turn over. There is a plug on the battery harness that has three wires going to the alternator and one coming from the starter....thinking it might have something to do with it but im not sure. Any ideas? Thanks

What is the voltage of the battery? Low voltage in the starting system will cause the clicking.

Update: Got it fired!!!! After about 4 long months of slowly building this thing its finally up and moving under its own power. After spending the last couple days/nights finishing things up I hooked the positive starter cable up as a ground. What a dumbass right? Oh well, as soon as it fired up on the first crank I was smiling ear to ear! Now I just need to finish the evap lines/get the rest of the exhaust completed/ tuck everything away, and drive this beast. Thanks to yotatech and all the other swappers out there that post such valuable info on this swap, it really helps out!!!

Yes, hooking up the battery correctly helps immensely.
Have fun on the next stages.
