Good news about the Supra. It's just the master cylinder I think. It went in but won't spring back. I'll go ahead and replace both though....tomorrow.

oops. Jump the gun. I think my throw out bearing is bad. The fork is loose...meaning it's not sitting tightly away from the engine.
I think I DO neen to drop the trans to replace it.

I went to three pull part place looking for the third harness for VSV stuff. I got nothing.
IN the mean time, I can continue with the wiring that I have. I hope to get the Supra back from the mechanic today. It's not fun with just one car for the family.

I'm looking fo rthe wiring harness for the VSV stuff...
I'll go to those over the counter type. They seems to have a lot of stuff....
I was thinking of making them myself also. How hard could it be?....
That's what I've been telling myself since the project started....

If you still have your old 3.0 harness you can use the vsv wiring from it, that's what I did for my swap and just ran it into the cab and tied it into my conversion harness. Think I had to re-pin one plug and that was it. So that's always an option.

KG206, that's a great idea. I think I'll do that.
I wasted 6 bucks walking half a day in three pick a part places with nothing to show for it.

I finally put the tires on the front and noticed that the front of my truck is now higher than before...like about 1" or so. I guess the 3.4 engine is lighter than the 3.0.

Jake90, They are basically electronic control pressure valve that's used to release pressure from the gas tank as well as return unused gas back into the gas tank.....
I might be wrong but that's how I understand it.

A VSV is a vacuum switching valve.

Basically a relay for vacuum. A small electrical device that controls that opening and passing, or closing and stopping the flow of vacuum.
