Now seeing as every swap is different please include, Your Vehicle (3.0, 22r, 22re) and the Donor Vehicle (3.4) And transmissions on both.

The differences arise in different wire colors, stripes, and on occasion different position in the terminals. Then there is the differences from auto and manual. As well as the different accessories each vehicle may have. I doubt its good enough. I just figured if everyone posted at least for reference, then some help would come from it. I still have to clean up my wiring and post what I have fixed.

I never wrote all my stuff down. I did it wire by wire, and never recorded anything. I wish I would have now though.

theMonch 3.4 swap Wiring Diagram

Recipient: 1988 4runner 3.0 (3VZE) 5-speed (R150) 4WD IFS
Donor: 1997 T100 3.4 (5VZ-FE) 5-speed (R150) 4WD IFS

I have mine all bundled up into a PDF that can be downloaded here.

There are a few differences when using a T-100 as a donor when the wiring is concerned. Read about them here.

Truck is running flawless for 4 weeks (approx 800 miles) since completion.

this thread helped me out big time but i have a few ?

E5 Plug

9. Y-G = TPC to IK6 What is TPC and what plug is IK6?

17. Y=PTNK to IK6 I see this has to do with vsw's what exactly must be done here and whats the function?

IH1 Plug (C1 in my case)

1. W-B Ground For Transfer Case (Do I just ground this wire?)

8. Antilock to check connector? (Somewhere in the abs system?)

12. Ground for ECU (Just ground this conector?)

20. G-L Speed sensor (Taps into speedo wire @ Transmission)?

Thanks for all the help! I should add that i am putting a 2003 MT 4x4 into a 1992 4x4 !

I did a 96 3.4 into a 95 runner last year.
I used a 97 Runner overall diagram and a 92 pickup/95 overall diagram and everything matched up perfectly.

Post up your email and I can send you some stuff. I won't be able to get to it till probably thursday night tho.........maybe Friday. Maybe someone can get to you quicker.

Sweet that would be great. I can't wait to finally start wireing this bad boy. I have been putting off this wireing for about 3 years now. It's been way too long. My buddy wants to drive his runner again. It went from stock to 3.4 and sased and 63s in the rear. It's gonna be fun. But my email is yota4x4sc@gmail.com thanks a lot,
Andrew

The starter trigger wire goes to the sta terminal. I would assume the sta means starter.

I documented this in the swap101 sticky

Sweet thanks I'll try that one tommrro. I just hooked it strait up to the wire that went into the starter relay now. The wire that comes off or the ignition I think. I don't know if that is good though
