Anyone ever use Bosch O2 sensors????
#2
ctcost,
I tried to replace my O2 sensor on my 99' limited with a Bosch from NAPA and the check engine light stayed off for about 1 week before it came back on. I took the runner to the stealorship and they replaced it with a Denso and it has been fine since, no check engine light. NAPA took back the used O2 sensor after a week of use and gave me a refund. You may want to try a Bosch, just make sure you can return it if itdoesn't work.
Good luck!

I have a Bosch O2 sensor on my runner. Haven't had any problems since installing it about a year ago. Bought it at Autozone.

I've had 3 bosch's in mine, check engine light is still on, but I've been too cheap to go to the dealership and get a good one.

closon, has your cel ever gone off or been reset? even if the sensor is changed, if the computer isn't reset... the light can be on forever jsut remembering the original code......

I reset the computer every time, hoping that would take care of it... I think I just own a picky truck.... don't tell him I said that though :-p

Replaced the old one in my runner with a bosch. Have probably about 1k miles on it now with no more CEL. It used to turn on if I was crusing in 3rd or 4th gear at around 2,500-3,000 rpm all the time but hasnt done it since.

And it was cheaper than the stealership.
