Bad ass build! I have no idea how to build one but I am studying and came across your post. I just got my 1981 and would like to do the same thing.

ToyTrucker I am in the process also to do a SAS Along with pulling the 3vze out and putting in an LS engine.
Does anyone know a ball park figure for the cost of a SAS?

All depends on how/where you get your parts, your fab skills versus paying a shop to do it. I'm seen some under 1k to over 10k
