92yotaman~ Did you do the swap yet? If you haven't I'd do longfeilds and stick with the toy stuff! Sorry I didn't see your question sooner.

lots of people are running 44's under their yota. my bros 92 pickup has a 44 under and it works great. just make sure you do your SAS correctly dont use some huge drop hanger with flat springs and tiny stock shocks

Whoa!!! DEJA VU!!! I am doing a SAS as well and a buddy of mine is doing most of the FAB work.. He works at a custom shop. I had to spend some time with the torch cutting a drop hanger like that one off of my truck.

Granted. With my excitement I wanted to get it done and maybe I was a little anxious and a lot Broke.

He was trying to help me out. At his shop they mainly build MUDDERS.. I guess the rednecks that get it done dont care as much.

So I just ordered 5" Lift springs from Trail-gear for front and rear. and High-steer.. I'll try to post pics of what i cut off tonight or tommorrow.

thanks for the insight of this thread.

you have the right attitude... def better than a tweaked ifs...i hope you can get it fixed up with a few new parts..maybe you could do a little research and go back to the shop with some ideas and see if he would be willing to fix the truck the way you want it for a good price.. because right now its not good advertising. and with a little work it could be maybe good advertising.. i would keep the axles and springs and just do as you suggested to clean it up and get a driveshaft... l

Thats not a bad idea. Shoot, show him this thread. Hell, you are the spokesperson for his company on at least toyotas, kinda

If he fixed it up and made it look bad arse, maybe he would get some more business.

i bet if you google the company's name, this thread pops up!
