On the 95 SAS I did back last April he totally removed all the ABS stuff in the engine bay after we removed it from the axles. Just straight brakes.

Well more than likely your sensor on your rear axle is bad and your bulb could be burned out. Also the light might not even come one because the ABS is actually working, just not when its supposed to.
IF you want to keep the ABS.
Problem 1 Pull rear sensor out of diff and check it for metal shavings, the sensor is magnetized slightly and catches the fine metal shavings from gears and bearing wear. Those shavings get caught up between the ABS ring and sensor making the ABS think that the rear end is locked up which engages the ABS motor.
Problem 2 Sensor, ring gear, or ECM is bad, inspect the ring gear for cracks, chips, or any damage, replace as needed. ECM failure is rare but still could be the cause. Find a donor truck or a "willing buddy" who you can pull parts off to test and find out what the problem is.

If you want to toss the ABS, Easiest way is pull the ABS fuse or unplug the ABS ECM (inside dash above glove box). You can also delete the ABS motor with new power steering lines bypassing ABS motor and bypassing the brake lines that go to the ABS motor. If you have any questions let me know.

ill try unplugging ecm and fuse, i could care less if abs works i would rather get rid of it all but im going up to the mountains this weekend and in colorado we have a ton of snow so i would be nice to have normal brakes. and besides abs is for pussies ive driven in treacherous weather my entire life with normal brakes and if you dont know how to use your brakes and drive without abs do us all a favor california drivers and stay home. THANKS GONOVER FOR THE ADVICE!!

I'd remove all that ABS stuff if you are not going to use it. Cleans up the engine bay.

You might have a bad wheel bearing. I ahd the same issue on my 05 taco and i also had to pull the fuses just to drive around and not make the abs trip all the time, new bearing and the problem went away. A friend explained it to be as the wheelbearing vibrating and making the abs think the wheel is slipping.
