Exclamation Pitman Arm 1st gen.

Got a question about the pitman arm -- never removed or replaced one before but i can use the stock steering arm if I can adjust the placement of the pitman arm's rotation. Meaning that if you can place the pitman arm at any degree from the beginning...i can just spin it further out so that it will work for the driver;s side steering arm on the dana. But, if the pitman arm only locks into one place for install...then it wont work.
ANYONE know bout the placement of the pitman arm on install?
Does it only go in on spot or can we manually place the pitman arm on the bolt??
