I would allow two hours from the North end... just in case you get caught behind a tractor or something...

I will be leaving Duvall at 6:00, with a stop in Northbend, a stop in Kent and a stop in Auburn... then it's down to Enumclaw for the fun and games to begin.

It's supposed to be in the low 90's on much of the trail tomorrow. Bring a camera and BRING SUN SCREEN! Also, plenty of water/Gatorade would be a really good call...

Make sure you fuel up in Enumclaw before meeting at Safeway... once we depart, we will be in the woods all day and it sucks to be worried about the gas guage all day.

From Bellevue it's about an hour to Enumclaw, via 405 and 169.

Couple weeks ago we were up there, ran Little Naches, Naches and some random trails around Shoestring and two of four rigs were on vapors by the time we got to Whistling Jack's on the other side. Definitely fuel up before we leave Enumclaw so those of you leaving tomorrow night can make it back over the pass without needing fuel, Jack's was charging almost $3/gallon.

At least they still have free air...

I will have my main and aux tanks both full before I leave Enumclaw, so I am set, but I charge a minimum of $5.00 a gallon to fuel other rigs and the price goes up from there

Do you think we can get this motley crew through the Little Naches this year?

Heck ya! That's a damned fun section of trail, would be a shame to skip it.

As of two weeks ago it was in pretty decent shape too, I don't believe there's any spots that will risk certain damage. Just a couple roots to go around carefully.

Hey Ya'll,
I might be leaving earlier in the morning to visit with my wife who is camping out at the Dales campsite. Its about 10minutes south of FS 70. Are we airing down at the usual spot in front of the outhouse just before the trail entrance?

That'll work! That was one of the fun spots, too

I may not have done 90% of the trail in 2wd (like you hehe), but my rig did just fine considering it's bone stock, with open diffs and mostly bald street tires. Time to start saving my pennies for coil-overs & tires, locker, and a new front bumper

It was definitely a fun trail. Kinda scary at times but thats what made it fun.

I'm just glad I made it through, considering I was unlocked and only had 2 wheel drive. But now I guess I have something to brag about.

Now I'm just jealous of all your rigs. Now I just need to save a few thousand dollars

Hey Jeff,
Give yourself a good pat in the back. You did the Little Naches in 2wheel drive.
Maybe it was a good thing you didn't know your manuel hubs weren't working till later.

Yeah, its definitely a good thing I didn't know. I would not have even tried that first hill climb. Just thinking about it gives me shivers

Your call. But it is now open to you.

I do have some links, but not with me... they are on another machine that I won't be near until the weekend. I know that some of them got posted on the WATTORA message board 'though, if you are jonesing for them.
