I'd say that the past month has been on of my most difficult. Many things happening - not many of them good! But no violins for me! I'll be hitting the trail at evey opportunity!!!
What have we got coming up; Thursday's run, Naches Pre-run, YotaJam, WATTORA Naches run. All we need is another Moses Lake run and life would be grand!

Well, after being extremely disappointed hearing the news about my tie-rods and backing out of thursday's run, I've gotten enough reinforcement from you and others that a bit of PB blaster to lube things up a bit will do the trick. I've ordered new inner and outer tierods anyways, and will probably replace them/keep the old ones for spares, mostly for peace of mind when I drive up to Alaska. But, the good news is I can go wheeling on Thurday!

Oh, you're coming......?
The Fire academy exit (39?) at 7:00 PM or a few minutes early to air down. Rob is the only one thats been there before, so he might want to jump in and confirm the location.

Yup, got my "approval".
Sadly, I don't have any fancy new mods like the rest of you...boo-hoo.
I will be getting my black rims (finally) within the next week or so...and I'll be getting some sort of on-board air setup shortly thereafter.

Jim,
Where are you getting your rims at? I'm looking around for a set of 16X8's to fit 285/75/16's. I was just going to go with a package deal with 4wheelparts (1000 bucks for rockcrawler rims and MT's).

I'm just gonna get them at Les Schwab...but mine will be 15", so I think they're a little more accessible than 16"-ers. The brand is different, but they are very similar rims...
I think getting a "deal" is the way to go though. I was tempted to get the 31" Swamper LTBs on 15" rockcrawlers for a measly $550.
Would have been sweet, but I don't want to get new tires until I re-gear...so I can get 32" or 33".

ok im turning in my paragraph report on gravy wavy. and no i didn't plagerize at all!!!!!! especially not copy and pasting!!
Gravy Wavy-
Wavy Gravy was a beat poet, comedian, one-time Merry Prankster, and, by unanimous acclaim, the “clown prince of the counterculture”. Using comedy as a vehicle for social change, Wavy Gravy and his fellow “Hog Farmers”, so-called because they shared a commune with numerous hogs, traveled the country during the sixties to protest the war and focus attention on poverty. The hog farmers pulled into Woodstock in August 1969, running the kitchen and providing medical aid while Wavy served as master of ceremonies for the historic event. Today, Wavy is active in Seva, which provides medical aid to those in need here and abroad, and in Camp Winnarainbow, which teaches circus and performance arts to children of all backgrounds.
so he was pretty much a hippie clown guy who did protest songs and poems.

Very nice Kevin!
For extra credit, define the book detailing the travels, or the leader of the Merry Pranksters.
For extra credit all through next semester, read the book in question!
And Rob, for a good eyebrow raise, know that I have a picture of that vehicle in full flight with the signatures of _all_ the riders.

The sister of a good friend of mine tells a story of how she broke down along side of the rode one day, many years ago.
This wildy painted bus pulls up and a gentleman steps out the door, walks up to her and asks if she needs help. She says that her car died, could she get a ride to a service station.
She spent the weekend on the bus.
No lie.
She has pictures and everything.
btw... Ken's son is reviving his dad's visions. He has the bus and it's being restored. I have his address.

Now.. about that beer we're supposed to have.
