I'll post a pic of mine tonight once it's in. my kenwood has a flap face but I managed to get it flush so the cb sticking would be more obvious on mine.

Hmm for simplicty sake I think I'm going to pay the extra $$$ and get the one Brian has, so it will be clean and descret, I prefre to have the ultimate d/d, hit the trails hard all weekend and then bring her home and hit the town Sunday night. Plus I would hate trying to explain to the girls that I'm not a red neck just because I have a CB. :pat:

Best thing about the 75 WX ST that is in Brian's pic is that you install the mic plug in the center console and hide the box behind it. All you have to do to use it is put your antenna on and plug in the mic.

Exactly what I'm looking for, plug and play. Then the rest of the week when I'm not on the trails I can PIMP out the Runner. . LOL

guess I never really worried about what others thought. I just like alot of gadgets and since it fits in under the kenwood deck and looks stock, it's fine with me.

If everything goes as planned, I'll be heading up Thursday morning and leaving Sunday morning. I'll be riding on Saturday and maybe Friday if enough people are there.

I'll be leaving Florida on Friday morning and making a quick pit stop in Columbia, SC, that afternoon. Then I'll be headed up toward and through Ashville. Hopefully, I can get to Murphy before it gets too late. If anyone's leaving Columbia on Friday late afternoon/night I can hook up with ya and we can follow each other up. Then maybe we can catch up with some of ya'll headed through Ashville.

Yeh, I should be. I'll be going I-26 to Ashville. We can hook up somewhere along there. Haven't been up that way since going to Death Valley at Clemson to see Pink Floyd in '94. You'll have to refresh my weak memory.

J, please dont' take my coment as anything negetive. I was saying the girls would think it was reneck, not myself, I think it looks fine. I'm just partial to having that empty slot under my deck, it's a great place for my remote and cell phone.

We need to figure out times and all that good stuff now, like when everyone is planning on being there, if enough people will be able to make it maybe we can make a night run on a few easier trails. I have class until 1:00 on Friday, I guess Jeremy, Jason and myself need to look into these things.

So what time are most people planning on getting there Friday?

I plan to arrive before 5-6 p.m. on Friday, perhaps earlier, just depends on what time we get away Friday morning/afternoon.

No need to bust a hump getting there early Friday unless you wanna do some wheelin' on Friday. All day wheeling Saturday usually wears me out along with staying up all night.
