I'll be headed through Ashville, but it will probably be late in the evening on Friday night. What time will you be passing through? I'll meet up with you if you're going through Friday night.

There is a chance I might caravan with yall... I might leave here on thursday after class and come spend the day with my mom in asheville then if you guys are comming up friday night then that would work out well. Its a possibility. Depends on how many people I bring I guess...

On another note, I found some old footage of when I came up to boone and sam and I hit some trails a couple years ago. So, ive already got some footage and a project started. There isn't really enough to make a vid off that, but I'll see what I can do.

you guys see this? There's some stuff going on at Tellico the weekend of our trip:

Quote from Off-Road Adventure Mag:

"Nov. 6-7: "Winter in Tellico" Murphy, NC. Hosted by the Off Road Sportsman Assoc. Join us in a new season of awesome fun filled with events, competitions and activities. For group leader or other info on these great rides, please call 770-478-2587 or rokkdancer@aol.com"

anyway, just thought I share that, if I go I might go watch some of the competitions.

Just cause it is in the magazine doesn't mean they have anybody coming. I sent him an email to see what their schedule is exactly. You can't reserve Tellico I dont' think, as it is a National Forest and public land, the trails that is, but hopefully I'll hear back from "rokkdancer". It's a big place with lots of trails, so I don't see it as a problem.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Hey, Turbo, I'll be headed up 95 through Savannah around midday Friday. If you don't leave Thursday night let me know and we can head up toward NC together.

that wasn't my point. my point was it would give us something else to do if we feel like it, like watch a competition or two. didn't mean to rain on your parade.

Just finding out to see what they are doing that's all. I see we got the clowns taken care of for our parade!

I got the big cabin for the weekend. There is a 3 day min so I went ahead and got it for thurs friday and sat nights. She said that unless there is a group coming in on sunday we can check out after wheel'n if we want. Man, I'm getting excited!!

I think it will be cool to check out a couple competitions. But, I hope it doesn't attract too much traffic. who cares... we will have fun either way

Tiger,
If we are going to be about the same time then I will ofcourse head up with ya. Though, I must say I kind-a tend to have a lead foot.

Man I feel that excitment coming on fast. Brian you need to get up here so I can get my hands on those sliders and get them on in time. My bumper, tyre deflators, recovery shackels, andlevo Gauges will be here next week. Then I just need to get my hands on a CB and those sliders and we'll be ready to rock and roll. I also picked up my spotter and co-driver for the weekend,a ssuming work gives him the time off.

Jason and Jeremy we need to talk about how we are going to get together so we can caravan into Tellico.

Cool deal, I'll be getting with you sometime soon to get my sliders from you once Brian gets his rig and leaves them with you. Sorry we're going to be taking up more garage space with our deals, lol. I'll also prolly need some help installing my CB before the trip, if you would be up for that?

had a productive day, hopefully still on schedule to make it to this one in one shape or another.

Brain, checked out your new battery, it works needed a 12V source to use my new inline fuel pump to drain the gas tank from the supra and give jason free gas at the same time.

LOL, moster garage indeed. After looking at that picture, it makes me wish I could throw a D44 under my rig and join the SFA crew. Now that the All Pro gear is in the 85' shouldn't be cramping the "big trucks" space for too much longer. It's almost here fellas, parts are arriving, wrenchs are being turned on a daily bases and the smell is in the air. I can't wait to hit the trails.
