Chris, where you been all summer ?
I look when I pass your house everyday and never see ya. Is Jesse and Bill going to Tellico? I may be going alone - the wife is going to a wedding and the boy is working. Just wanted to say Hi

AHHHHHH, WTF all these trucks that I have been wanting to see for a long time in person and now they are all pulling out, the originators of the whole trip no less. I still rather give Brian crap about this being all his fault, it seems like everony followed him off the cliffafter his announcement.

Uah,
My poor hands...

Between detailing this:

and trying to hold onto these...

I just don't know how I managed

Dropp'n like flies... funny the ones that were making fun of people that do that are the first to fall I don't have a front suspension at the moment. My downey shocks are shot to hell and I can't get the casing off the shock because the three allen bolts are not going to budge. I might try and drill them out but I have a feeling i might be ordering a new casing I also thing the spring is sagging a good inch or 1.5in. I'm going to call them today. Good thing my friend is picking up her new runner today or tomorrow so I will be able to drive the denali til I get my truck back.

Just got off the phone w/ brian on his way back home from NC w/ "junior" in tow. So far he's got both lockers in and the front lift installed and some of the small stuff done. He's got his work ahead of him, but that's gonna be one sweet trail rig...

Hopefully he'll be able to post some pics tomorrow, but he won't get in until 10pm of so tonight, so it may be Wed before he and get any...

Is this his first time to see the rig in person? Sounds like he has a major part of the work done. Now he just needs to get that 22re to step up and produce a little power!

Yup first time to see it in person. He's got the toughest part out of the way, but it's going to be a journey to say the least...

He still has to get the rest of the lift on (Front done, Rear still to be completed), the 35 MT/R's on, get another 35" MT/R for the spare, get the Compressor and Air Tank installed & hooked up to the ARB's, get the rear Disc Brake Conversion and new Master Cylinder installed, get the engine running good (running rich for some reason), get the sliders installed, put the front and rear bumpers on w/ rear tire carrier, get the Dual Optima Battery setup fabbed and wired up, then get it painted (yours truly). I probally left something out...

Sounds like he has a day or two of work left on it. No worries. What rear disk conversion kit is he using? Is it the one from slee off road?

I dunno. I do know that the rig already has an 86 axle under it. I think he's going to put some wheel spacers up front to match the rear width difference.

Oh yeah Brian has his work cut out for him. It always ran rich when I had it too, I was hoping Jason could figure it out for him. It already has ALOT better compression than it ever did for me. I don't see how he can do all that work alone and be ready for Tellico, his "maybe not coming" must now be a NO WAY. We'll just have to wait and hear from him about it.

Mike,

That sure is a long haul just for the weekend thing and you also have
to hope that nothing drastic happens along the way. There will be other
chances ! Happy Halloween by the way
