Are you talking about the factory top plate that has the 3 studs in it on top of the coil pack? Could you not get the 14mm bolts off the top because PB blaster works all the time?

Austin, just throw in your old lift set-up you still have that don't you? I'm praying for you to get things together, wish I could be down there to help turn a wrench. I'm headed to Goldsboro tomorrow to get my sliders put on by Joe, and then back home, off to work, and a late night CB install and e-locker mod. Oh how wonderful it will be to work in the cold and dark. Knocking on wood, nothing like that will have to be done at Tellico. Can't wait to see everyone there.

They are adjustable coilovers and the sleeve that fits onto the shock rusted itself to the shock. I also took my front sway bar off because I broke one of the end links or whatever they are called. That would explain the horrid pull to the right under braking!! or.. I hope thats what it is

What if we all met up at the fudruckers in asheville for lunch before heading out? Its a good meeting place because there is tons of parking, its right off hiway 240 so its not really out of the way and it will help break up the drive for us that have driven 4.5 hrs already Then with full bellies we can head for the hills. I know you already discussed this a little but would 12:30-1 be too late? I'm really going to try to leave at 8 but there are always those things you think of as your walking out the door, or in my case you think of after you have pulled out of the gate :pat: I will make a map for those that haven't been to asheville. Everyone is going to be coming from 40 correct? I think I'm the only one coming from the 26 side.

What is 'ol stegal up to? I haven't talked to him in a few days either, I assume he isn't going to make it either?

I'll pm it asap. I think dogs are fine, but I will have to charge more because they will definately charge me more. I remember looking into it because at the time I still had nali* but... she was taken from me on my 21st b.day so there will be plenty of room for the hounds.

You guys are coming up through asheville also correct? Thats the way it is showing us to go coming up 26... either way it shouldn't add much time if you do come, and since you two are both "cough" self employed "cough" you should be able to make it to lunch right?

The crawford's map is NOT TO SCALE. Maybe its just my habit of not trusting my sence of direction (which is not bad at all, I just don't trust it) and I actually turned around because I thought I had gone too far, that is til I saw 4 huge CJs headed up the other direction. Then I figured it had to be right. Just thought I would warn thee who haven't embarked upon the hills of tellico... oooor something :pat:

i dont have a sway bar on my 85 and its got 35's on it. sway bars are for ˟˟˟˟˟s any way. as for the exit # i dont remember but its the last exit in johnson city before you go thru erwin

 

you can find out by getting directions say from asheville to your house, then we can meet at the exit. That is, if you want to. I can call you when I'm getting close and you can come out and meet up with us. Thats how I found all the map.

Well, it takes 2-2.5 hrs from asheville, it only takes me 4-4.5 hrs to get to asheville.

It takes me 4.5hrs to get to atlanta, and atleast 2.5 from atlanta (correct me if i'm wrong atlanta folk). Its just more of a straght shot to asheville than atlanta. When I looked for directions to murphy it said 6hrs and 50min or so, when i put in tellico, it said 6.5 and put me through asheville. Which is fine with me because I have been this way before and it will be easier for me which will make it even quicker. Then I also get a chance to meet up with everyone and caravan, so why not?

26 dead ends into 240/patton ave. it will be a left turn onto patton and you pass a bunch of comercial area and cross over a bridge, once over the bridge that is where the map picks up and you will see the onramp for my 26 on your right, there are like 6 lanes, stay in the middle and shoot for 240. stay in the right lane and you will see the meromin exit then onramp and the charlotte offramp is connected to the meromin off ramp. Then you make a left at the light and you go through one light and then at the next light you will see fuddruckers on your left
