Sam your driving, you have to at least be in the group shot with your truck, anyone have camera that can take a really good panaramic shot? I need to get a CB before then, I can't be in Tellico and not have one, any suggestions for a good one on a 3rd gen that doesn't come off looking too red neck on the interior?

About $100 for the CB. About $20 for the antenna, then about $15-$20 for the Coax Cable. Add in about $10 for misc stuff and shipping.

In all, plan on $150-$160 total.

I have the same Cobra, it fits in the dash a little better under my CD/MP3 player than any others I found. I got it at a Wilco truck stop on I-77 for $60 some and a fire stick spring and 25ft cable or so from 4x4connection.com

 

you got a shot of the install? I am making a pigtail tomorrow at work for it so I can mount it flush under the stereo where the pocket is. it sticks out a couple inches as is.

I got mine at the Pilot on I85 for 69 with a firestik ii for 16. still have the dash torn apart waiting on the pigtail and my custom brackets I'm making since the holes don't line up on the aftermarket install kit bracket on my kenwood deck.

 

Mine sticks out about a 1/4" but no pics

 

you got an elbow in the back for the antenna or did you pigtail it? what about your mount bracket?

 

That's a good idea, I kinda crammed the CB in there as tight as I could. It screwed into the bracket that the pocket was in. My stereo has a flap face and sticks out a little bit more than factory. Sorry no pics.
