I sent my registration in today. Protrux is gonna help me with my rear tow points tomorrow.

Oh yeah, they have an 84 4runner that they're going to drop a 90's body on. Since the 84 body is gettin tossed, jim let me part it out. I got the front seats, an instrument cluster with tach and a bunch of other little ˟˟˟˟. If anyone needs something off of a 1st gen, I'll try to grab it if it's in good shape.

The center console, frame, and drivetrain are already spoken for as far as I know.

another idea i had for a rear tow point is if you have any holes in your frame just get a large shackle and put the pin through. hey is anyone else bringing kids i'm bringing my daughter and my buddy is bringing his daughter both 7 year olds.

Great idea on the frame hole deal. I'll check it out. Thanks.

I got my tow point welded to my frame. I'll have to take my bumper off to use it. Probably a good idea to take my bumper off anyway....damn toyota mounted it to the body!!! Yeah the body.

Not sure what time a run would be on sunday...I'm hoping early.
If I said there would be 30 tacomas....would you be more likely to go???

Dosen't matter too me at all. I just want to drive my truck! Its been yearning for some 4wd action! Last time I went was in Hungry Valley back in February of last year with some Yotatech members. I was 1 out of 3 tacomas who showed up. Me and my girlfriend had a good time then. Looking forward on doing another trail with you guys. I hope it rains or snows, so it would be interesting.

I am a possible to showup...

'04 Taco

My CB is sposed to get here next week. What chl you guys on?

I will prolly come down from Lake Elsinore 15 to 78 to 86.

Unless you guys think 15 to 8 East would be faster.

Are you guys going on one of the official SD 4 Wheeler runs ion Sat, or make your own run?

It's gonna be cold. Will a tent and sleeping bag be enough cover at nite?

Thx, Jim

I'm planning on doing either the easiest or second easiest run on Saturday. Just going to have fun.

Some of the other guys sound like they want the 4th or 5th hardest run.

Dub Cab73- PM your cell or home number to me and I can call you saturday or sunday and let you know if it is still on.

How about CB channel 6???

I think I want to take it easy on this trip. I wouldnt mind rolling with Death on one of the second easiest ones. I'd rather be above average on a 2 than a weak link on a 3+, espeically when theres a bunch of people. I'm just looking forward to Sunday. I'll probably get out there about 8:30-9PM on friday.

Honestly I would attempt the 3 or 3+ if I had a locker. I know I will be over equipped for the easy or second easy run, but it'll still be fun. Better off in my truck than at work....or worse yet in a Jeep.

Besides my Xj bud is cruising and we don't want to make it too hard for him.

That reminds me...what time should I leave to get there in time saturday morning. Or is it a horrible idea to leave san diego saturday morning. I'd rather have friday in sd, but if it is smarter....maybe I'll go out friday. ????

I'll be busy with guitar lessons until about 8:00

We can always push our limits on Sunday. If you want to head out friday night, we can meet up somewhere and caravan. I showed up late friday night on the last local desert trip. IMHO Its nice to pass out once youre there and not have to worry about driving in the morning. Personally, I just hate being rushed.
