I will now be OFFICIALLY covering the event for 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine!

We'll have pics plus a short writeup published in the magazine.

yeah, with only 8 pics accepted, that only leaves like 2 or 3 for you guys after all the pics of me doing the fun stuff w/ the front locker and showing off the rear bumper. i'll definitely have to have it painted by then.

seriosly, i'm going to burn a CD w/ all the pics, with a folder for the recommended publication pics and the writeup. i'll send that to 4WDTO Mag and then burn extra copies for a couple bucks each and mail them out to anyone who wants one.

they are VERY interested in getting this fully covered, and already have a few pages reserved for the writeup and pics!

brian, you'd better shut down your fab stuff and get busy w/ the quickness on the 85. you still have to finish the bob so i can paint it, then you have to get the lockers plumbed and build your exo and then paint it - all before may.

Most folks won't show up until Friday afternoon or Friday night, but if you get there Thursday you get to wheel two days, not just one...and Fridays things are pretty empty.

Hope you can make it.

Send me that t-shirt pic via email Andy please. Thanks.

nope. make your own reservations for whenever. i'll be there thru evening or friday morning - but i'm only about 2hrs away.

the registration fees cover the meal and any other costs associated with shipping the prizes or adding more. every penny will be spent on the group and won't go into somebody's pocket.

Birmingham, Knoxville, Atlanta-any of those would work. I can see it now-me towing the camper through the airport and causing a huge traffic jam b/c the 4Runner won't fit in the parking garage and I can't turn the camper around. And then, Steve riding to Tellico in the back seat with Mason!

If you're serious, one of us will pick you up.

TYS - Tyson Mcghee Airport in Alcoa, TN. It's on my way down to Tellico. I'll pick you up at about 6pm on Thursday.

Delta has the cheapest tickets into TYS.

you can do southwest into Nashville or Birmingham - the two closest SW cities.

trade ya. i wheel the SS 44Runner up Martinez and you wheel my bitch up Slickrock... seriously. if you wanna, you can.

$177 round trip from Phoenix into Nashville and back. add a rental to that.

$283 into TYS on delta and i'll pick you up and drop you off. fly here thrusday evening into atlanta and then on to TYS later that night - 8:30pm - and fly out on sunday afternoon at 4 and back at home by 8 that night.

The wife is still unsure about going. She LOVES wheeling with me and would be VERY bummed if she had to stay at camp.

However, I have been given the OK to head out solo

My wife loves wheeling too, but put them together with 2 babies and I bet they'll have a good time even with no wheeling.
