Can I fly non-stop to Knoxville? I'm not real into stops and changing planes, I'd pony up the 75 for a non-stop.

My hope is she wants to get out so badly it forces her in the car with me--at least to get there. I say sitting in the woods (peace and quiet) is better than the city.

i even offered to rent a pop-up and haul it down there.

i will let here know of the offer as I remind her at least twice a day
No problem Eric ! Everybody loves my wife - I done well !

I have heat and A/c in the camper ( another of my projects )
It's a 1976 model - new canvas / cables / heat and air. I have less that $1200.00 in it though - 12 foot body - 20 foot opened.

Monica does smoke but not in the camper and not around the baby - we are considerate idiots.

expedia.com says no directs.

AA goes thru dallas to knoxville w/ short layovers on both legs for $275, but only 1 or 2 tickets left at that price...

I am waiting on a call back on the cabin.

I might end up with one RIGHT by the trails.
Either way they are nice cabins and I don't have to pack extra junk.
They are calling me back about the dogs....Looks like it is all coming together

They have extra cabins available that weeked

The Cabins are nice but they are 10 miles from the campground on very windy mountain roads - just so you know.

Steve,

we can make this happen - I live 5 miles from the airport if Andy can't pick you up. I plan on heading to Tellico Thursday evening. 2- 3 hours away pulling the camper.

Still looking at what is available in the area......
these seem to be the closest to the trails. Might be the best option.

Damn Steve if I knew you like hanging with hillbillies I would have had you hang out with the "White Trash of the Elwood Chapter of TLCA" at our Lone Star Jamboree. They would have made you feel right at home. Are you planning to come to the TTORA National event in Hot Springs?

dont' worry. not a big deal. you'll want some sleep anyway. things usually die down about 10-11pm anyway. we just hang out at crawfords, drink beer and BS and then go to sleep. wheeling starts bright and early. on the trails by 9am at the latest. we'll probably meet up at crawfords to "organize" but we can also just pick you up in the groups since we'll be passing right by on the way to the trails.

Eric - you could stay in the camper with us if you want. Monica and I are not hard to get along with. The campground experience is 1/2 the fun
of each of these trips. - up to you dude. The bathhouse at Crawfords is amazing - you and the wife will be impressed.

I'll make Leon sleep in the runner - black cocker spaniel - 1 year old
who loves to wheel.

Hazard is the next town over, but you never know

Doc, we might be bringing our dogs and make a family vaction out of it (if the wife comes we will need to bring the dogs--easier than getting someone to watch), Thanks for the offer.

If the wife bails I am camping

Is there anyone else willing to jump on a split deal for one of the bunkhouses there at Crawfords? The idea of nothing more than a duffelbag and a cooler sounds awesome. Let me know, I'm up to spend a little extra for a less stress and easier pack up and head out.
