I'll be bringing my digicam as well. Nothing as spectacular as a 20D, but I can get a few with my SD450.

Sorry about your truck Jeremy. That's bummer. It would have been awesome to see.

I'm looking forward to meeting everybody! It's going to be awesome!

Shotgun Jeremy as my full time camer man. I'm sure you can get a good hi-res shot of my truck doing something stupid. I really want to get a picture in one of these mags that'll be there.

Anybody want to meet up in Ashville and travel as a group the rest of the way? Seems like a lot of the NC folks are going through Ashville on the way.

me and Mike will be headed from asheville Thursday morning around 10 I guess. I havent really decided on a time to leave yet. We just want to get there early enough to see while we are setting up!
probably leave Wilmington around 5AM and meet up in Asheville between 10-11.

Well my group should be hitting Aheville around 11-11:30 if you wouldn't mind wiating to leave a bit, maybe give you some more time to relax. I'd really like to take it in as a big group, makes the trip enjoyable to have some CB chat going on. Come on it's a vacation, no one should be in too much of a hurry.

I can be in Asheville whenever. I was thinking around 11 too. I think it's almost a 2 hour ride from Charlotte. Are you all taking hwy 64 or 74 out of Asheville?

My suggestion for you people going through a town is Fudruckers. It's Right off the hiway and they have a huge parking lot for you guys that have trailers. Plus the food isn't bad and since you are meeting right at lunch time that works out. Usually I'd be there to coordinate everything but this year we have to go through Atlanta.

Are you trying Slickrock this year Brett?

Only if it's bone dry, I can't take too many risks with the rig while Mason is a baby on trips with us-I gotta get home in one piece!

Way far ahead weather report is 40% percent chance of rain on Thursday and 60% percent chance on Friday.

Yeah the Funruckers is a good meeting spot. The narrow roads right there off the exit can be a bit of an issue for trailers but it's not far enough to matter. Will do you and Mike want to meet my caravan there? I'll just keep in touch with you guys as we make our way so we can time it out easily, we'll have to see how Andy's rig does towing the Jeep before I commit to any times for sure.

I tried to look for this, but there are just way too many "fluff" posts on this thread to find anything.

Are there any caravans setup for the Georgia and Bama drivers? If not, when is everyone trying to leave?

it will be around someday, if i didn't have final exams this week i could dedicate a couple hours each day and finish it but thats life. I was still holding an outside chance for awhile that i could maybe get it to run in time to drive there at least, but it wouldnt be road legal or relabile for sure so i've sorta set it aside to work on after the trip instead.

Thanks Brett. I have my last final exam on Tuesday, so the chances of me leaving Wed night are very very slim. I probably wont be leaving until Thursday around Noon.
