PICS: KS Rocks Park
Well I finally got a chance to wheel with a fellow yotatechr'
Ric and I along with a few of my J#@p friends headed out last Saturday to check out the park in dry conditions. The last two times I have been down there followed several inches of rain and it was all we could do to get around on the easy stuff.
The trail builders for the park didn't cut anything down under 4" which makes for some pretty tight trails.
Yes there are trees in Kansas
I ended up getting up close and personal with one of the trees and put a nice little dent in my left rear quarter. It was totally driver error (when isn't it
)
I lost momentum clearing a pretty tame ledge and gased it a little too much and the back end came around and tagged the tree. Oh well it was bound to happen sooner or later.
I'll let Ric chime in on his damge report.
Here are a few pics...nothing to crazy.
Ric clearing a couple of the many ledges
Deep narrow crossing...
The goal for the next outing is to have three 4Runners on the trail at the same time...
Note the strategically placed tree next to the obstacle...
