PICS: KS Rocks Park

Well I finally got a chance to wheel with a fellow yotatechr' :bounce:

Ric and I along with a few of my J#@p friends headed out last Saturday to check out the park in dry conditions. The last two times I have been down there followed several inches of rain and it was all we could do to get around on the easy stuff.

The trail builders for the park didn't cut anything down under 4" which makes for some pretty tight trails.

Yes there are trees in Kansas

I ended up getting up close and personal with one of the trees and put a nice little dent in my left rear quarter. It was totally driver error (when isn't it ;) )
I lost momentum clearing a pretty tame ledge and gased it a little too much and the back end came around and tagged the tree. Oh well it was bound to happen sooner or later.

I'll let Ric chime in on his damge report.

Here are a few pics...nothing to crazy.

The goal for the next outing is to have three 4Runners on the trail at the same time...

Note the strategically placed tree next to the obstacle...

Very Cool. Sorry about not being able to make it. Sick children put a damper on things. We will have at least 3 Runners and a couple other yotas too.

Randy,
thanks, good pics, when i get mine done, ill post them, and yeppers, i got some damage, :) but heres my list, drivers door but an easy fix, front bumper, just the corner, trying to push a tree, lol it didnt move, but my bumper did, now i have a reason to get the TJM wooohooooo, oh, and the right lower controll arm bent just a tad, but still drives fine and straight, as Randy said, im keeping an eye on the tread wear, and looking into something a little better than stock, im learned a few things, thankx to Randy, and all the others that went. it was alot of fun, im not sure what trail ratings we were on but i know i had a great time.. Thankx Randy, and please tell the Jeepers i said thankx, hope to do it again real soon.
