Paragon - Sunday Sept 26th

OK... who's interested (i.e. serious about going) and what types of trails do you want to run? Let's see what kind of group we can get together.

I'm looking to run harder greens and easier blues. I've run a lot of greens and for the most part, they don't challenge me much. I'd like to run some more blues to get a feel for what I can handle.

Lastly, is anyone familiar enough with the park to be able to lead us? I can read a map (sometimes), but that's about it.

I'm serious about going. I would like to run some tougher greens. Not sure about the blues since I have no winch and open diffs.

I've only been to the park once and didn't get to see much of it, so I won't be leading.

FWIW... I have open diffs and no winch and I've run a few blue 1s without any problem. I'm sure you could handle them too... if you want to. I'm not trying to pressure you into running harder trails than you want, just giving you some info.

I'm sure I can work my way up to it after running some tough greens. Do you have a CB?

Yea... I love having one. Though sometimes the banter can get annoying. The ease and convenience of a CB for keeping in touch with the group is great

Yeah.... whatever you guys decide I'm in... if you guys choose a harder trail I might not go just because I wanna try the greens first... but its up to you. I don't have a problem and I'll probably still get the nerve to do a blue if thats what you guys choose.

You can count me in as a "maybe". I'm going on Saturday to run upper blues and maybe some lower blacks with a local Jeep club, and if I don't break my junk on Saturday I'll probably hang around and meet up with you guys on Sunday.

I've been there a couple of times and have always run blue trails. I don't know the park real well, but I'd be willing to guide the group.

FYI, I'm running 32"s, 1.5" lift, open front diff, and the rest is in my sig line.

I will most likely be there on Sunday the 26th, Just have to see if I'll have a passenger or not. I ran with a few stock height 93 runners at Paragon and they scraped the factory skids a few times, but no big deal. That was on hard greens easy blues. You may want to consider taking off the running boards just as a precaution. Hope to see you all there!

TS - can you confirm as a "for sure" for this Sunday?
Ti - what about you?

I'm in for sure... so if you two are in, that's the group of 3 we need according to park regualations. I guess we can just wander around looking for trails. I've got a couple of potential routes - greens and blues - that might work.

94 - love to have you along too, but your running boards are going to be a serious limitation... even on greens. Otherwise, you'd probably be fine for mid-greens.

I'll post over on 4x4Wire to see if there's any interest over there. I'd like to have 5-7 confirmations if possble, just in case someone has to back out at the last minute.

I'll be there. I went wheeling locally yesterday, had a blast, and I'm ready for more.

I think I'm gonna drop my running boards tommorow... they're just pissing me off. Anyways, you guys have 3 already so if I wanna tag along I don't think there'd be a problem. I'll see what I do and post an update.

I'll be there. Paragon has a new rule that one of us has to be a "certified trail guide" I think its only like a 30 minute class we could all take in the morning before we go out. Beater are you in?

Edit: Here is the info on that class: http://www.paragonap.com/p_adventure_selfguided.htm

I forgot about that new class/training thing. Has anybody had this? I'll be there on Saturday with some Jeepers, so I'll try to get it taken care of then.

Is anybody planning on camping Saturday night? Or are you getting there Sunday morning?

I'll definitely be there for Sunday.

I'll be camping up in the Poconos, but I'll be there between 8:30 and 9:00am
See you there
