9AM is good. It's going to suck getting up at 5:30 AM but oh well.

I'm hoping to get my rig outfitted with a CB by then. It's proving to be a challenge to find something locally with so little time.

I just dropped my running boards... which is only eight bolts or so and four screws on each side... but my ancient tools that homo erectus used allowed me to take an hour and a half doing it.

In any case, I'm in. White 94 Runner.

Also check local truck stops... they often have a good selection and all the installation stuff, plus antennas and other accessories. Prices can vary, but that's where I got mine.

Thanks guys. Yesterday I found a local electronics store that specializes in this stuff, so I think I'm going to pull this off in time.

Jackson, did you come up with any disconnects yet? If not I may have a quick fix. Phong (I'm guessing you know him from the boards) is selling his 4Runner and is parting out his mods. (I already snagged his IPF's) He had Nuke disconnects and I could get them from him since he and I work in the same city. His disco's may be in better shape and could hold you off until you make new ones. Let me know and I'll get you his email address.

That would be GREAT! I'll PM him and see what the story is with the discos. Thanks.

EDIT:::
His site is down... I wonder if he took it down when he decided to sell his rig. Do you have an e-mail address for him?

OK... should we probably try to figure out what trails we want to run? I don't want to spend the whole day looking for trails or figuring out the map. As I said before... I want to run harder greens and easier blues, so I'd like to run these trails. I have no idea if it's too much or too little for a 1 day run - I've posted on the Paragon board looking for input - hopefully someone will weigh in.

Foundations (green 2)
Turtle Rocks (blue 1)
Turtle (green 2)
Inner Spare Tire (blue 1)
Rocky Meadow (blue 2)
Laurel (blue 2)
Boy Scout (green 2)
Logging (green 2)
Woodpecker (blue 1)
Muddy Pipeline (blue 2)
First Pipline (green 2)
Good Bad and Ugly (green 3)
Logging (green 2)
Rock Swamp (blue 1)
Lucky (green 3)
First Pipeline (green 2)
Doe Run (green 3)
Campground (green 2)
Turtle (green 2)

I'm not familiar enough with the park to remember which trail is which. On the types of trails you listed, and with the rigs that we'll have, we should be able to cover a lot of ground.

As far as I'm concerned you've organized this trip and whatever trails you want to do is cool with me. I'm open to any plans.

Sounds good to me. I already know Rich (TiTRD) and I'll be looking for his maroon Xtra cab. Here is what I'll be driving.

Meeting by the trailer for 9 works for me.
Having a trail plan sounds like a good idea too. I don't remember what trails I did last year, so I really have no input.
Hey Jason, that's a pretty sick setup you have. I like the bed.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we picked up 2 guys from the Paragon board. One in a TJ with 32s and open diffs, the other in a runner (not sure the year) - SASed, dual cases, and locked F/R. He'll be the one to get us out of trouble if we find any.

Dropping the running boards will help you a lot. Ground clearance should be your only issue now. If you've got your skids on and don't mind scraping a bit here and there, you should be OK. We'll spot you though when necessary.

94yotarunner, you'll be alright. I'm running some crappy AT's and open diffs so I'm not expecting to be a hero. It's all about choosing a good line.

Hey Jackson, would you be interested in some mudflaps for the front of your rig? I have a pair that I ordered by mistake and they fit 4Runners without fender flares. I'm stuck with them so if you could use them you can have them. You might have to modify them to clear your tires though.

BTW, I still haven't heard back from Phong. I'm guessing he's on Vacation because he always gets right back to me.

I don't need any mudflaps, thanks though. And I haven't heard from Phong either. I'm probably going to cut my old discos off and run disco'ed until I can get a new set (hopefully sometime next week).
