I'll keep my eye on this thread. As far as Toyota clubs go Norcal has more wheeling clubs that most run Toyotas than you can shake a stick at. You just need to get out more. I wheel with 5 different clubs on a regular basis and most of us all drive Yotas.

Soooo any objections to the weekend mentioned "memorial day weekend"? I know it is usually a big family weekend so make sure all your ducks are in a row and let me know if this works for you- mainly pointing this at the folks that already said they were game.

I'd be into a Hollister trip. My rig is kinda stock and I'm kinda green with the 4x4 thing. If you guys could tolerate a newb I'll roll up there, it's about 2hrs north of me.

im in chico, and as soon as Im done with the sas and regear ill be a down for some wheeling. my buddy has a sami we are building too that will be down to mash to woods.
ive been wanting to go check out the high lakes above downyville/grass valley area for a while. Ive spent some time on google earth looking for the sweet spots around here and there is a section up there that has plenty of little lakes and roads. not shure what kind of wheeling is up there but, i always seem to find something.
my new favorite nickname for sac is Ballsacermento, cause it is.

final date for trip.
I think I am going to stick to memorial day weekend. It will make it so I can do a little more playin up there. As well as some fishing. I know it has been jumbled up but I feel this will be the the best weekend for people and families to get out and do some wheeling.

I'm looking at going up through part of the Hogsback trail to get a feel for the bigger trip. Look at different roads trails on the lower half. I was on the upper half last oct so I need to check the lower. Make sre it is still passable.
