Colorado - Ski/Snowboard car pooling

The season is almost here, A-Basin is going to open on Oct. 21. Mayhem brought up car-pooling a while ago as a way to cut down on gas and such. I figured we put together a list of who has what pass, the Super Pass (Copper, Winter Park), the Colorado pass (A-Basin, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek), or the Loveland pass. The thing is, how to contact people when somebody is going up. Suggestions are welcome.

I also love to go backcountry riding, so those you who are experienced but don't have a pass, or don't feel like standing in long lift lines, I will also going up to those spots (Loveland Pass, Berthoud Pass).

For those of you who have never been up before, myself and I'm sure others are more than willing to teach you to ski/ride.

I think loveland and a-basin are both trying to open this weekend(the 14th). I live in Vail and have the Vail 5 mountain pass, I don't think I need any carpooling though.

in case you haven't already, you should find the websites for those resorts and if they have a forum, find carpool buddies on there.

the ride share section for my local resort, mt high, is pretty active. i'd imagine it's the same deal for places in colorado.

tho it would be cool to find carpooling/wheeling buddies on here.

Yeah thats the point, I have a hard time trusting people and their driving. I know most of the yotatechers in the Denver area and trust their driving. I don't really wanna get stuck with a bunch of weirdo's either.

I haven't bought a pass yet but I was planning on it based on what my friends get....

If Rik gets the colorado pass that will be Colorado 2 / Copper 1
What are One and Brian doing, I think last year they said they didn't use the colorado pass

I am still down to carpool though...

We aren't going to buy any specific pass this year, but will be going a few times to different resorts.

We'd definitely be up for car pooling.

Well i'm probably going up opening weekend (Oct. 21 or 23) to A-Basin if anybody would like to join. Theres only one run open, but I've been going opening weekend for the past 4 years and its become a tradition for me. Its still fun to go out and test your gear before the real stuff starts.
