IIRC, depending on the trail they all open at different times in the months of April, May, and June.

Theres a lot of trails "open" now but have too much snow.

get on the forrest service website. You can search by forrest, and they have road condition pages. With the snow, it will probably be late may june, possibly july for some.

I hate the snow!!!!

What is runable right now? Were going up this weekend no questions asked and want someplace that is runable for about everyone. Carnage has been done to death, bunce was a tug fest...I dont know what else is around that people have run. I hear theres a place up north called middle fork or something that a stock rig can make it but has lines that are harder. Anyone up north know how it is over there?

I hear ya - I want to go REAL 'wheeling!

We tried both Fall river Rd and Yankee Hill this last Sunday. With some work, Yankee Hill might be doable.

On CO4x4, it sounds like Slaughterhouse might be doable too. I've heard Sevenmile, Switzerland, etc are still super deep, and anything with a gate on it is gonna be closed...

Sorry to hear about Bunce - was gonna try that here soon...

We got 15feet past the parking area coming from the school side and it looks like lots of people got to the parking lot and gave up. 15 or so feet in the snow got really deep and really soft. It was iced over and the you drop in to above diff iced over snow. My buddys tacoma was almost to his leafs by the time he was done attempting it. It may be better now with the weather being better but im honestly too lazy to load up and drive up there to find out.
