(i am not scared of a little body damage and i will be stocked up with front axles and spare parts, i've read about tellico)
You should be fine, specially since u got Solid fron axle and dont mind getting dents. I ran it stock last year, had a unnoticable dent in the rear underside of the body, but besides that i was good.

An '87 is IFS. You'll still be ok though.

Yeah, instead of 4Runner Jam, maybe it should be called: "Spring Mod Madness"

I'm in on the modding too, mostly for towing ability though.

Looks good Ernie! You might want to think about doing a 3" drivetrain lift while your at it, so you can have a flat undercarriage.

Are you serious?!?! Hell yeah I'm hungry. If you ain't gonna eat it, I'll scarf it down! LOL

You get the bedbar done yet? Tires there yet?!?! I gotta see it when you get those 35's on.

Do you know where I might acquire me a CO2 bottle for cheaps? Say, a 10-15 lbs. bottle.

don't know if that deal is on, but there's a decent pre-built setup.

Man, I'm definitely jealous of those tires and rims. It looks great man!

As far the drivetrain lift, if I were you I'd email Roger Brown and ask him. I did mine with a buddy of mine, and it was pretty simple. It's going to make a huge difference once I get rid of the stock crossmembers, using the FROR skidplate/crossmember. I'd check it out for sure, if I was you. Your truck would be nearly unstoppable.

Looks GREAT Ernie !

What are your plans for the 32's ? They would look great on my runner
and provide a little more lift. They also would work for wheeling only
wheels and tires. Price ? - be easy on me now

You sure have made quite a few changes to the truck - looks good.

the wheels unfortunately have been spoken for,but i do have the tires to dispose of,maybe 20%(proly a stretch!!) tread left(good trail spares),and the full size spare which is the factory spare wheel with a mud king or some off brand mud terrain tire mounted on it. the spare has maybe 75% tread left, but has shallow dryrot cracks in the tread. all would make good spares or a start for someone who wants more tire but no $$$!! i'm thinking maybe $125 for all and i can try to deliver to tellico(truck's gonna be pretty full!) oh yea, thanks!! i must say i have been caught more than once today admiring it!!! now time to regear! later
