we need to start a new thread since this one was supposed to be who's going, and turned into a chit chat! haha
I think the list is all messed up now anyways.

 

There's really no point to starting a new thread, it will go the same way that this one has in no time flat. I'll post up right bellow this one with the "who's going" part and for those who see their name not on the list to please add on. Then back to the chit chat as usual.

Whats Tellico like its its been raining ? is there alot of mud ? I hate mud and slick crap....

I dunno how much trail riding ill auctauly do if its been really wet and sloppy a few weeks prior to the trip

 

Lots of red clay and you know how slick red clay is when it is wet. If it is wet, throw trail ratings out the window. If you don't want to take your rig, I'm sure someone will let you ride along as there will be plenty of seats available. I'll have 3 in mine!

 

well im not hot on sliding into a tree and mashing a 1/4 panel.... lol trucks not even paid for. Hopefully it wont be to nasty.

 

Heck yeah! I've only ever seen 1 of those anyway.

 

It's not too bad, the last time we were up there, they got 4" 2 days before we rode. Just stay away from the "mudlake" on Trail 8, hopefully they will have that fixed by then. Steve Crawford said it was at the top of the list on things to fix by the Forest Service.

 

You can take her for a spin if you like. Counting the days and the mods till May

I e-mailed with Bratik a couple of weeks ago - they know about the Tellico trip but neither have posted up yet. Not like Z-man and Bratik to miss the opportunity !

 

I am now questionable for the Tellico run.
My company is talking about relocating me to Florida to replace
an icon to the company due to retirement. I have been nominated for the job and they have offered to buy my house and set me up there.
I am neogotiating the deal and weighing the possibilities.

We shall see ! I am still commited to wheeling at Tellico but I don't know
how sooon this will happen.

 

Yeah I know, that is why I was wondering if they even knew about it. But even on the Fall Colors Run, they decided the night before that they were coming, so who knows, they might just post up late, or just show up Friday night. The more the marrier .

 

Doc, we need to talk about this Florida move! They'd have to triple my salary to move back there, but maybe you'll love it!

Thanks Chris - The Florida thing is a concern of mine as well. I've spent a
considerable amount of time at the Florida facility during visits there. It is located at Merrit Island, Coco Beach area. It is a position within our
Product Development Department. We are neogotiating the money and it will be a deciding factor in my decision. The job has a lot of glamour to it and is filled with perks.

 

It's a nice place if you love the water, really hot temperatures, and golf. If you don't love those things, I wouldn't do it for any amount of money, but that's just me. I was born and raised down there, and will never move back. I love the mountains, the cooler temperatures, etc., and it's just really hot down there.

I co-sign with Chris, I was born and rasied in FL and I will NEVER go back for anything more than a vacation(horay Spring Break in FL next week). Doc whatever happens I hope it turns out to be the best for you. On the other hand I hope it takes awhile for everything to happen so you can still make it to Tellico with us, it would be a shame to miss out on one last wheel'n trip with all of us.
