thinking about getting this 2002 taco

Since i might need to rebuild the engine on my red 1990 3.ohmygoditslow with 184k miles I might just cut my loss and get a newer fancy truck.

I really like this truck but not so much the grill trim. just wondering if theres like a grill swap out there or something. dont want it to look like a mexican ride though lol

Also what upgrades would you do? bigger tires, super charger possibly?

If it's a 3.4l I would put a supercharger because they have enough power already compared to a 3.slow

If you can go without, I'd just wait for a better looking Tacoma. That one looks like sin (to me) and there's always more possibilities out there.

its never financially smart to get a newer truck because you're tired of maintaining the old truck. Do the timing belt, false water pump, water pump and replace the knock sensor ( code 52 ) while you're in there.

yes, false water pump. theres a bracket that covers your water pump. and the bracket has a small bearing in it. itll cause a ˟˟˟˟ storm if it goes bad while you're driving,
