3" FJ Leveling Kit

Nate asked for the info on this kit...here's the link that I ordered from:

www.fjcruiseraccessory.com/fjcruiserezlift.html

I have to tell you - I've been VERY impressed with look and ride of this. I was worried that since I didn't go with a suspension lift that it would look afflicted or ride poorly, but after driving this weekend, it has really settled in and the ride is smooth as butta'...I've had several people drive it and they too are amazed at the ride because of the tires/lift.

I had the tire shop put the kit on at the same time they did the tires - they did comment that it was more work than they expected.

Here's the side pic again:

Also, quick comment/observation...I'm really finding that the majority of FJ's that I see here in Jax, FL are just the really basic model (most even minus roof racks). They aren't very popular and I watch as people look at it almost like they're looking at a bad wreck...they wanna look away, but just can't. I'm admittedly from a redneck, bubba truck city...but I think the FJ is too "4x4 contemporary" for this area. That make sense?

Look good Amy, glad it worked out for you.

Whenever I see an FJ without a rack, it looks to naked to me.
I prefer the FJ to have a rack on it, it just looks more off road/better to me IMO.

Just pride yourself on the fact that you're not driving a H2/3.

I live in Ormond/Daytona Beach Area and i see plenty of FJ's now some fully loaded and some bare stock. In my opinion.... i think my FJ looks perfect with nice BFG All Terains, the trd rims and no roof rack. I think it looks alot better then alot of the FJ's on the road around town (just my opinion though, everyone loves theirn own truck) I agree that some people do not like the FJ's because they see the bare stock models with the small street tires and steel black rims that make the truck seem as though it had an oversized body. I dont know, just the way i see things, the stance of a vehile can make or brake it

Hey Isurfer - I totally agree with everything you said...

Where in DB are you? We come down almost once a month to our condo at OceanWalk. Love it!
