im about to a buy a bone stock 84 runner. the only problem is the wiring harness has been hacked and butchered to hell.

i cant seem to locate a single retailer (local or online) that sells a replacement harness.

i havent started to check the local scrapyards yet, i figured i would start here. i search the forums and suprisingly didnt come up with any concrete info either.

anyone have some info/advice they can share? location to get one of these? any luck with a universal harness?

 

Try the classified sections of this forum, 22rte.com, Pirate4x4, Toyota Nation, etc. Post an add in the wanted section, if you don't see one for sale and keep checking e-bay! There is an 88 & 90 on there right now, but nothing for an 84. There is no such thing as a universal harness, but if you get an 84 it should have all the wiring that you need regardless of what options. It was later that Toyota started making their harnesses model and option specific.
