Unhappy New Stereo = No Locker?

Hey, I just had a stereo installed and decided to take little off-road trip to check it out. But my locker wouldn't not engage - it just kept blinking at me. It seems that I have read of this before but cannot find it. Anyone know what could poosibly have happened???

Heh-heh! It was actually done by one the best shops in town!

The whole thing is weird as I'm pretty darn certain the systems are not connected!

I doubt they are related. There is no reason for any type of linking in to anything related to the e-locker. When was the last time you used your locker? Throw it in 4L, click the switch and wait. If it does not engage, slowly crawl forward and then turn your wheels side to side a bit..It should then engage.

I too doubt that they are related, but I just used the locker a few days ago without any problems. I didn't try the side-to-side thing, but I was backing up, creeping forward. I am going out today just to engage the locker and do a mild burn out to see if both rears spin even with the blinking dash light.
