Interior lamps question...
Hi,
I just bought a 2007 Tacoma.
I've got the normal interior lamp in the center of the headliner. It goes on when I open the door.
I've also got a pair of lights close to the top of the windshield. They operate by pushing a button near them.
Is there a simple way to make the pair of lights click on when I open the door instead of the center light? I'm considering removing the center light in favor of a large sunroof.
Thanks!

Re-wire them with the dome light wiring. Most likely all that requires is swapping the ground wire. Dome works with constant power and is grounded via the door switches to turn the light on. The map lights have constant power and ground and the switch turns them on and off.

D'oh! I should have thought of that.
Wow, that sounds pretty simple. Thanks very much!
