How to deal w/ multiple accessories off the + battery terminal?

I'm starting to have a rat's nest of wires coming off the + batt. terminal and wondering what the most sanitary, cost effective and efficient solution might be? A power distribution block (one 0 gauge off the + to a power dist. block), an separate fuse block or? Pictueres? Suggestions?? Right now, I have 5 things connected to it, two sets of aux lights, HID's and amp (all have fuses). TIA, Peter

Take it all off and get you a fuse block. I ran a 4 gauge wire from my battery to the fuse block which is mounted on the inner fender well. Then depending on the block you got you have 5-10 fused places to hook up accessories. Here is an example of one.

I would suggest a power distribution block.

Taikowaza had this same problem, and I believe he decided on a power block too.

Contact him, I see he was on as recent as yesterday

I'm about to have the same problem when I add the circuits for the lights on the roof rack and the power inverter under the seat. Where can a power block or distribution panel be found? I've looked at all the local auto parts stores and radio shack for ideas...any pointers would be appreciated!

Like UKMeyers said, get an auxilary fuse block...I have one(in a box somewhere) from blue sea systems:

they have several different options available...
edit-you probably don't have to get this extensive but I had this write up bookmarked:

That's great stuff! Looks like you have to get their stuff through dealers, but there's a West Marine store not too far from me that has all that stuff. Thanks!

Wow, clean install! I know I got fuse blocks before from my local Shucks that I put into my old Galaxie.... will try that route first or a local marine store next before ordering something...all good ideas!
