Daytime Running Lights - DRL - LED Conversion

Hi

I recently changed my 89 Pickup over to LED. Through this form, I realized that I needed a new H4 harness etc. to make them work. Great!

However, the bulbs I put in have a built in DRL halo light, which is run (or to be connected) by a single red connector. Usually I see DRLs having two wires - a red and a black (which I presume is a ground)?

Now, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect this one...and how to connect this to a DRL module. Being in Canada, I need to have a DRL and simply putting the lights "on" when driving won't work (they have to be dimmed, and the rear lights come on anyway)

So questions:

1) is there a separate DRL module for LED conversions?
2) How would I wire this with ONE single red connector? Do I need to also connect it to the black ground?

thank you!
